Getting Bella ready for school in the morning can be like herding hamsters, so we let the Noggin distract our Sweet-Pea while we wrangle her into some clothes. It just so happens that during getting-dressed time the Noggin features a show called Oobi, a remarkably simple concept that captivates Momma and Poppa as well. Oobi is a Hand Puppet minus the puppet. That is, Oobi (and his family) are just hands with eyes. They use very basic speech and explore the adventures of daily life - going to the doctor, the first day of school, meeting the new kid on the playground, etc.

The Oobi Song is one of Bella's favorites, and she will occasionally sing it while opening and closing her hands. Last sunday morning during a visit, Bella performed her best-ever rendition of "Oobi" much to Mamaw's enjoyment. All the bells and whistles of Christmas toys wont keep our little one from being amused by her own never-idle hands.
