Bellaboo is growing by leaps and bounds. She comes home from school with new words every day. We love having conversations with our little social butterfly! A typical conversation in the morning:
(As I open her bedroom door) Bella: Hey momma!
Me: Good morning, sweet pea! How are you?
Bella: Good!
Me: Did you sleep well?
Bella: Uh-huh. Diego sleep (pointing at her giant stuffed Diego doll) he cry vaccuum scary! (Diego is very scared of the vaccuum cleaner).
Me: Are you ready to get dressed for school?
Bella: No. Bella clothes on (pulling at her pjs).
Evidently, it is pointless to change into clothes for school if you already have your pajamas on. At least, according to Bella. She would prefer to wear her pjs everywhere.
Reading has become even more fun with her! She knows the words to many of her favorite books, so when Anthony or I pause in our reading, Bella is quick to fill in the correct words. We are convinced she can read all the printed words, but then again, we are first-time parents of a genius, so forgive us.
She is really enjoying school. When we are getting ready to leave in the morning, she says, "Bella coat go?" (Translation: Mother, wherever could my coat be, as it is past time for departure?) See pic below:
Bella is also becoming much more receptive to daily grooming, which makes us quite happy! We were worried that hairbrushing would become a thing of the past. However, as long as we attempt the grooming during the 6:30 showing of Oobi on Noggin, everything goes much more smoothly. Then, of course, we have to check ourselves out in the mirror, to make sure we are camera-ready.

One of Bella's favorite playthings is her Weebles Castle (Weebles Wobble, but They don't Fall Down!). Last night, Bella and Anthony were playing with said castle and Bella started asking, "Papa, what's that?" So Anthony started naming the Weebles: Knight, King, Wolf, Prince, Dragon, Red Riding Hood, Princess." He followed that with, "Bella is a princess" and Bella nodded. So now, when you ask "Bella, what are you?" She answers with, "Princess". So, we'll leave you with a picture of our little Rockstar Princess.
