Such a busy (and cold!) fall at the Basso homestead! Let's start with some Bella-news.
Miss 'Boo now counts ballet among her many activities. She dances with Miss Charlotte every Thursday morning before school and LOVES it! Yesterday, she was watching the Grand Canyon Suite at the end of Sleeping Beauty and pirouetting around the bed. Too cute.
Her sense of logic is definitely developing as well. A few days ago, Anthony said that they would need to run an errand in the afternoon. Bella asked where and Anthony said, "We need to go pick up Crocky from school." Bella said, "That's all? No Goodwill? No Once Upon A Child? That's not an errand." She is most certainly her father's child.
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Jeremy and Brooke's baby boy. Bella says that his name is Tommy. She has had a cold for a few days and we missed a visit from Jeremy and Brooke because we didn't want Bella coughing on Brooke. Bella was sad and said, "But the baby is all covered up! He won't get sick!"
Bella and I traveled with Nonie and Crocky to Southport a few weeks ago to see Jeremy and Brooke's band in action. The Terre Haute North Marching Patriots were really cool! Bella has decided that she wants to be in the Color Guard and has asked for a flag for Christmas. Jeremy and Crocky are not happy about this development.
In even more exciting news...we have purchased our first home! We closed at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 16th and will be fully moved in on Anthony's birthday. We are absolutely in love with this place...we have a lot more room, it's in a fantastic neighborhood and we are still close to everything. Anthony and I have been as giddy as schoolgirls at a sleepover this weekend. We keep finding reasons to go over to the house, ostensibly to clean, but really to revel in our new home.

It is so much fun! Except the packing part. But on Friday night, when I get to sleep in my new bedroom it will all be worth it!!!!!! Thanks J!
