Every night, before she goes to sleep, Bella says her prayers. It is usually the sign of the cross, followed by a Hail Mary or an Our Father. In the last few weeks, she has asked to pray for specific people. She always begins by praying for Barack Obama (and I promise that we never prompted her on this one!) and this usually follows with prayers for Nana and Papaw, MeMe, and various other family and friends.
Last night, however, after she prayed for the usual suspects, Bella asked Anthony if she could pray for George. Anthony, thinking it was for her Curious George doll, said sure. After she was finished, he asked, "Which George are you talking about?" Bella replied, "The other George...George Bush."
Once again, Bella proves that she is a much better individual than her parents!
