Some Stories and Pics

We can't believe our baby girl is going to be TWO soon! Time really flies...especially when your little one becomes more and more fascinating as the days go by. One of my favorite parts of the day comes when we get home from school in the afternoon. Bella loves to tell us about her day. We understand every word and it's absolutely adorable to hear/see her pretend to pause between parts of the conversation. She will put her tiny index finger on her chin and say, "Hmmmm...". As Uncle Charlie puts it, she is ridiculously cute.

She had some digestive issues last week, with some gas accompanying the issues. She was tooting a lot and confusing it with actually filling her diaper, so there were a lot of false alarms in the diaper-changing area. However, we knew she was feeling better when we had the following exchange with her:

Momma: "Bella, did you toot?"
Bella: "Nooo...Papa tooted."

As you can see, we are trying to grow her bangs out, so we can just throw her hair into a ponytail. Here is one experiment:

On Sunday, we visited Mamaw and had some pizza and pudding. Bella stayed remarkably clean!

For Valentine's Day, Mamaw bought Bella a whole mess of Dora the Explorer related materials, including this shirt. We let Bella wear it to daycare the following Monday and she was extremely excited. We couldn't get her to stop looking at the shirt!

We are all still enjoying Noggin very much. Bella really likes Little Bill. It's a show created by Bill Cosby about his childhood. It used some neat animation techniques and is voiced by Gregory Hines, Ruby Dee, and Phylicia Rashad, just to name a few. Bella calls it "Little Beee-uhl" (think Beale, as in Beale Street). She sounds like a true southern-fried toddler.
