We just wanted to give some updates during this oh-so-hectic spring. Bella is growing by leaps and bounds!
She visited her new pediatrician last month. We love Dr. Collings! Such a nice woman and an absolutely wonderful nursing staff. Bella weighs just over 20 pounds and is in the 90th percentile for height. Dr. Collings said she is right on target for development!
Bella gets faster on her feet every day. She is sporting some sweet new sandals (see pic below) that keep her feet cool while she is playing outside. She absolutely loves blowing bubbles in the back yard, especially when they "pop" on her fingers.
The vocabularly list just keeps growing. Bella can now say No, Mamaw, Down, and Dat (that). She can also pick specific stuffed animals out of a lineup. When we ask for Hildy or Lucky Bear, she toddles right to them and gives them a hug. We've also added a spoon to the dinner scene, as Bella can now feed herself pretty handily with one.
Last night was quite fun, as we purchased a somewhat used Little Tikes slide for the 'boo. She really likes it. However, we are getting a lot muscle from lifting her up and down all the time! Another fun game we like to play is "Get You", which consists of Momma or Papa saying, "I'm going to get you!" and Bella running away squealing with laughter. Too Cute!!!
